10000 views.

I can’t believe this milestone is here. I’ve been waiting for this for a very long time. Im about to hit 10,000 views, this post will probably do it for me, and I’m shocked. I started this blog less than a year ago, to find something new to do with my life and to document my thoughts, I never dreamed people would actually read it. I remember hitting 2000 views and feeling so accomplished. At the beginning of the year, my views and likes started to shoot up and it was oddly satisfying. I started to take blogging more seriously, posting regularly, and only improving my views.

These past summer months, I have been unable to post as much, and when I could post I was lazy about it, so naturally my views have dropped. Now that school is in season once again and I have things to write about, I feel that excitement I felt about blogging in the beginning again. I’m ready to jump back into it full force and advance myself further. It’s my dream to work on the internet, and even though I started blogging for fun, I now realize what an important tool my blog can be for helping me get where I want to go in the future.

I want to thank you for the bottom of my heart for 10,000 views in less than a year. That’s insane to me, especially in 2017 when less people read blogs than they used to. I know it may seem minuscule compared to others but for me that’s a huge number!! Thank you to everybody who returns to read my posts and those of you who look at more than just one post when you visit my page, thank you thank you thank you. I can’t make you understand what it means to me that someone in the world cares about what I have to say. Interacting with you through comments makes it all so real and our connection so strong. I will continue to post about my journey through life and I very much hope you continue to follow it. 

Blogging has taught me that doing what you love and working hard at it will definitely pay off. If you have something you want to do, remind yourself it wont be quick or easy and take it one step at a time, it’s amazing how fast you’ll get there if you do. Also, I know it’s cliche, but don’t give up, even if you go through a rough time and what you’re doing seems pointless, remind yourself about your passion for it and keep pushing through it!
